The CE CT PRS Pulling Tool is used to retrieve the DB Series Lock Mandrels or the B Series Safety Valves with internal fishing necks from the well.
The CE CT PRS Pulling Tool latches the flow control device is retrieved by lightly setting it down into the device Fishing Neck. An overpull force will confirm that the device has been latched and an increased overpull or light jarring will retrieve the flow control device.
If it is not possible to retrieve the flow control device, the CE CT PRS Pulling Tool features a hydraulic release mechanism. There is also an optional mechanical release feature so that by setting down sufficient weight to shear the mechanical release Shear pins will release the CE CT PRS Pulling Tool, from the flow control device.
