A metal to metal CT BHA seal without rotation.
The CE Perm-seal Self Aligning Connector enables the connection and disconnection of the CT tool string at the surface where the rotation of the tool string is not possible. It is useful when making up long CT strings as part of a deployment system or when running CT completions. The tapered nose of the upper connector provides an efficient alignment with the lower portion. Once it is fully located, the outer threaded collars make up the connection, providing a fully sealed joint that has high tensile and torsional strength competencies.
