CE-DUAL-DROP-BALL-RUPTURE-PLUG-CIRCULATION-VALVE
The CE CV Dual Action combines the drop ball and the rupture plug circulation features into one tool. It allows the circulation of fluid through the CT tool under any normal operating conditions. By increasing CT pressure to a predetermined value, the rupture plug will blow out, thereby opening a flow path from the tool string to the wellbore, below the drop ball sleeve position. This action leaves the tool string I.D. clear for a drop ball to seat on the main circulation valve, in order to achieve the full circulation from the CT tool string to the well through the flow ports.
DUAL-BALL-KELLY-COCK-VALVES
The CE DBV Kelly Cock provides a dual barrier option that can be opened or closed at the surface with the use of a hex key. By rotating the ball valve through 90 degrees, the ball will be either open, in line with the I.D. or closed off across the I.D. This valve is useful when deploying the CT tool strings in or out of the wellbore.
FLOW-CONTROL-VALVE
The CE FCV allows the circulation of fluid from the CT tool string to the well under normal operating conditions. By increasing the CT flow rate, at a predetermined tool string pressure, the flow path will be fully diverted through the tool string. This valve is useful when intentionally applied pressure needs to be delivered to the CT work string. Reducing the flow rate will automatically bleed down the tool string pressure to the wellbore.
HYDRAULIC-KNUCKLE-JOINT
The CE CT Hydraulic Knuckle Joint enables a controlled mechanical deviation of up to 15° to be applied to the BHA. It is commonly run as part of the DTI Multi-Lateral Entry System, the Hydraulic Knuckle Joint can also be used to angle the BHA for cleaning operations or for jetting tunnelling applications.
The Hydraulic Knuckle Joint is held in the straight position by high load spring actions. As the tool string pressure increases, the knuckle joint articulates and becomes rigidly inclined at a maximum 15° position. An optional bleed port indicator provides a clear pressure signal to the operator indicating that the joint is fully articulated.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
• Controllably incline the tool string up to a 15° position
• Available with and without an optional bled port indicator

MULTI-LATERAL-ENTRY-SYSTEM
The CE Coiled Tubing Multi-Lateral Entry System is designed to allow controlled repeatable entry of the desired lateral wellbore. The system consists of a Torque Through Slip Connector, a Motor Head Assembly, a High Torque Indexing Tool, a Hydraulic Knuckle Joint and a Pump Out Choke Probe. A CT Flow Control Valve can also be used to allow circulation without activating the Multi-Lateral Entry Tools.
The CT High Torque Indexing Tool rotates the tools below it by 30° position each time the BHA pressure is cycled (15° & 45° positions are also available). Continuing to pressure up the tool string activates the Hydraulic Knuckle Joint which kicks over the Choke Probe. The Probe is suitably sized so that the Hydraulic Knuckle Sub will not be fully articulated unless the BHA is located at the casing window position.
The casing window position is located by cycling the High Torque Indexing Tool and picking up and lowering the tool string. When the casing window position is found, a pressure drop will be observed by the operator as a positive indication that the Hydraulic Knuckle Sub is fully articulated and the circulation port opens.
This CE Coiled Tubing Multi-Lateral Entry System can be used to enter multiple laterals in a single trip and is commonly used for Multilateral cleanout work operations. A very similar system is also used for jetting tunnelling applications.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Each component of the CE CT Multi-Lateral Entry System includes the following features to maximise its performance:

– The Hydraulic Knuckle Sub delivers a large articulation force to ensure a reliable hole finding
– The Hydraulic Knuckle Sub features a bleed port to generate a positive pressure indication, every time the casing exit window has been located
– The choke in the Pump Out Choke Probe can be sheared out to enable high cleanout rates to be pumped, once the desired lateral has been effectively located
– Can be used for any Jetting Tunnelling Applications
PUMP-OUT-CHOKE-PROBE
The CE CT Pump Out Choke Probe is run below the Hydraulic Knuckle Joint, in the Multi-Lateral Entry System. The Pump Out Choke Probe is generally sized so that the Hydraulic Knuckle Joint is prevented from fully articulating inside the main wellbore casing position. Once the lateral wellbore is effectively located, the Pump Out Choke Probe moves into the casing window position, allowing the Hydraulic Knuckle Joint to fully articulate. This action opens the bleed ports and provides a positive pressure signal as an indication that the lateral wellbore has been properly located.
A pinned piston sub acts as a choke to enable the activation of the hydraulic tool string. When the lateral has been successfully accessed, the choke sub can be over-pressured and pumped out into the probe body, which also acts as a catcher sub. Higher flow rates can then be pumped through the tool string for cleaning and stimulation operation applications.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
– Available in all OD’s and lengths to suit main bore casing size
– Adjustable pump-out pressure action
– Adjustable choke size
– Available in all standard materials and thread connections options
ROLL-ON-CONNECTOR
The CE Roll On Connector forms a sealed joint between the inside of the coiled tubing and the CT tool string, or another line of coiled tubing. The joint O.D. of the tool is the same as the coiled tubing.
The tubing end must first be prepared by removing the inner bead using a CE Bead Removal Tool* and polished to deliver a proper seal condition. The Roll-On Connector can then be inserted, and the tubing roll formed over internal radii on the connector body using a DTI Roll-On Form Tool*. Although it is not the strongest or full bore, this is a useful, cost-effective, disposable connector that is quick and simple to attach. It is often used for wash tool string operations.

– The Roll-On Form Tool is a universal tool used to roll the radius grooves onto the coiled tubing when installing a Roll-On CT Connector.
RUPTURE-PLUG-CIRCULATION-VALVE
The CE CV Rupture Plug allows the circulation of fluid through the CT tool under the normal operating conditions. By increasing the CT pressure to a predetermined value, the rupture plug will blow out, thereby opening a flow path from the tool string to the well. This valve is useful when a CT circulation flow path needs to be opened to the well below a tool requiring a drop ball, whilst leaving the tool string I.D. fully clear for other operations.
SLIP-DIMPLE-CONNECTOR
The CE slip Dimple Connector combines the strength of the Slip and Dimple connectors to form a very strong connector assembly, capable of transmitting high tensile loads and torque. A Pattern of set screws in the body of the connector is locked into pre-formed dimples, made on the outside of the coiled tubing using a DTI dimple tool. In addition, a tapered slip with internal teeth bites onto the tubing and pulls up into a tapered bowl.
ULTRA-DUTY-TWIN-FLAPPER-CHECK-VALVE
